This summer, give your child the opportunity to step into the captivating world of professional glass art through an exclusive week-long immersive camp experience at The Glass Bar Boston. Designed for creative, curious, and hands-on learners, our Summer Glass Fusing Camp offers far more than a typical arts-and-crafts program — it is an intensive artistic journey led by experienced glass artists in a real working glass studio.

Throughout the week, students will dive deep into the fascinating process of kiln-formed glass, learning the techniques, science, and artistry behind professional glass fusing. Each day introduces new methods, materials, and creative challenges designed to inspire confidence, creativity, and artistic growth.

Unlike standard camps that offer surface-level projects, our program is intentionally structured to provide a true foundation in glass art education. Students will gain an in-depth understanding of:

• Glass fusing fundamentals

• Cutting and shaping glass safely and confidently

• Layering techniques and design composition

• Color theory and reactive glass interactions

• Texture creation and specialty materials

• Kiln firing processes and behind-the-scenes studio operations

• Jewelry, functional art, decorative panels, and sculptural projects

• Professional finishing techniques

Every child will create an extensive collection of finished artwork throughout the week while building genuine artistic skills that extend far beyond the classroom.
