When we — Sheryl and Jordan, a mother-daughter team — opened The Glass Bar back in 2013, our dream was to create a warm, welcoming space where people could learn, connect, and discover the joy of working with glass. We wanted to build a community that celebrates creativity while helping local artists share their work and teach their craft.
Over the years, that dream has come to life. Our studio has grown into a supportive, inspiring community we’re so proud of. We’ll always carry the memory of Tracey, one of our earliest team members and dearest friends, whose creativity and spirit helped shape the studio we love today.
Today, we’re grateful to have such an incredible team carrying that same spirit forward. Ilyana, our Studio Manager, keeps everything running smoothly with warmth and care, and Joie and Erica, our Studio Coordinators, bring their own creativity and energy to every class and event. Together, they help make The Glass Bar a welcoming space where artistry and friendship thrive.

Meet The Team
Jordan journey into the world of glass art began after beating stage 2 Burkitt’s lymphoma, a battle that fueled her determination to embrace life’s beauty and pursue her passions wholeheartedly.
She later graduated from Emmanuel College with a degree in writing, viewing it as a means to an end to entrepreneurship.
Now, as a mother of two and a survivor, Jordan has found herself drawn to teaching students, sharing her love for the mesmerizing techniques of dichroic glass and glass fusing, and inspiring others to explore their own creativity.
