What Is Stained Glass
Stained Glass has been a world-renowned art form for centuries. During the medieval period Stained Glass surged in popularity as it was implemented into windows. These Cathedrals around the world continue to rank high as travel destinations for their ever-lasting Stained Glass Windows. It comes as no surprise that the techniques used to create these beautiful windows demanded great skill and artistry.
Here at The Glass Bar, we know that learning the skills of stained glass is well within your reach. Tracey Adams, our Stained Glass instructor, with more than 30 years of experience is eager to share her knowledge. Tracey views herself as a ‘life-long learner’. She is continuously learning new glass techniques to deliver the best experience to her students.
Floating Geode Panel
During this 3 hour course, our experienced instructors will guide you through the creation of this unique stained glass panel. You will learn the historic steps of the American Copper Foil technique of Stained Glass. Learned techniques include copper foiling, soldering, polishing, and patina. There will be a glass cutting demonstration at the beginning of class, though you will be working from a precut kit of glass.

Introducing Our First Stained Glass Class Just for Kids!
Students will learn the fundamental techniques of creating a stained glass window piece, while truly expressing themselves! This class is designed to perfectly suite your child's creative needs: the circular frame is perfect for your favorite emoji, but truly the possibilities are endless!
Students will chose from a selection of pre-cut glass pieces to design and create their emoji!
